Abigail Cahak

Abi joined the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association’s legal affairs team in February 2019 and became chief legal officer in 2022. She oversees all legal functions, helping WFAA proactively identify, manage, and resolve legal risk. Prior to WFAA, she worked with a large Chicago-based firm practicing primarily labor and employment counseling and litigation across several industries.  She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of York in the United Kingdom and a JD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign College of Law.
