Teams

WFAA employs more than 300 people who work in goal-oriented teams.

Advancement Services

This division provides the architecture for much of what WFAA does — it receives and processes gifts, maintains the alumni and donor database, and conducts business intelligence.

Alumni Relations and Engagement

The AR&E team works to ensure alumni feel informed, connected, and engaged with the UW and fellow alumni. The team unites alumni to celebrate UW–Madison and to support each other.

Development

This is the fundraising arm of WFAA — its staff works to connect with UW alumni and friends who are interested in making a financial gift to the university, and then to help them give in a way that supports the part of the university that they feel most passionate about.

Finance

The finance division works to ensure that WFAA operates within the highest standard of fiduciary responsibility.

Information Technology

Our IT team provides first-class service in the delivery and support of advanced information, analytics, and technical tools.

Investments

WFAA’s investments division stewards the UW’s endowment and other funds to ensure that the university receives maximum return so that it will have the financial resources to carry out its mission today and in the future.

Marketing and Communications

The job of this division is to tell the UW’s story and to inform alumni and friends of the opportunities to connect with the UW and with WFAA.

Operations & Administration

This division supports all that WFAA’s staff does; it includes human resources, legal affairs, operations, gift planning, and other critical functional areas.

Stewardship

WFAA’s stewardship division honors those who have given financially to the university by showing them how their gifts are making a difference.
