Rachel Lionberg

Rachel Lionberg is an accomplished advancement professional with more than two decades of experiences in higher education development. She joined the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association in 2016 as associate vice president and managing director for the Wisconsin School of Business and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2024. In this role, she oversees the development efforts for multiple schools and colleges, principal gift and gift planning teams, and is the strategic lead for chancellor’s development efforts. Rachel previously served in development roles at Loyola University Chicago, the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and the University of Colorado. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and English literature, and an MBA both from Loyola University Chicago.
